Translation

Οr like her: [the very glorious] lord [Schoeneus’
daughter, like the goddesses,] swift-footed godly Atalan[ta]
possessing the Graces’ radiance
she refused to associate with the tribe [of all human beings
hoping to escape] marriage [with men] who live on bread []
for the sake of the long-ankled maiden
