PATSTAT contains bibliographic and legal event data for patents from leading industrialised and developing countries. The University Library provides access to PATSTAT Global, which includes more than 100 million patent records from over 90 patent authorities and more than 200 million legal status events from over 40 patent authorities. The database is provided as bulk data, including historical records, and is updated once or twice per year.
